We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team on a 3-month contract in Croydon.
Location: Croydon, Surrey, CR0 6SR
Pay Rate: Β£17.81 per hour
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: Full-time / Mobile role
Start: ASAP
Driving Licence: Essential
Company Van: Provided for work-related travel
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general communal cleaning, including dusting, mopping and vacuuming
- Completing both high-level and low-level cleaning
- Undertaking deep cleaning of communal areas
- Using professional cleaning machinery and equipment
- Operating buffing and carpet-cleaning machines where required
- Cleaning bin stores and other communal areas
- Providing holiday and sickness cover across different estates
- Responding to additional cleaning requirements as and when needed
- Completing assigned Risk Hub jobs and ensuring tasks are correctly closed down once completed
Essential Requirements
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence
- Be confident driving a company van
- Be able to travel between multiple locations during the working day
- Have previous professional/commercial cleaning experience
- Ideally have experience with communal or estate cleaning
- Have experience using professional cleaning machinery and equipment
- Be comfortable carrying out both routine and deep cleaning
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is flexible, dependable and hardworking, with the ability to adapt to different sites and cleaning requirements.
You should be comfortable working independently and travelling between locations throughout the day while maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
