Director- Structural Engineering

As they continue to grow they are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Structural Engineering to join their leadership team and drive strategic growth, technical quality, and client satisfaction across all facets of the business, having an influence both the technical direction and the commercial success of this respected consultancy. Character and drive are the most important aspects of this role, while on a day to day basis the successful candidate will be responsible for: Providing strategic leadership and direction across all structural engineering operations Overseeing the delivery of complex and high-value projects from concept to completion Strengthening and growing client relationships, acting as a key representative of the business Mentoring and developing a high-performing technical team Leading business development initiatives, including bids, proposals, and market expansion Ensuring design excellence, quality assurance and compliance with relevant codes and regulations Collaborating with other directors to set and achieve business targets, including financial performanceReporting directly into the MD, to be considered for this role you will ideally have a proven track record of delivering complex structural projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and have excellent commercial acumen and experience with P&L responsibilities.
