A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multiskilled Carpenter to join a reputable and highly regarded Social Housing Provider. This is a key role within the Property Care team, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in all aspects of Carpentry and Joinery duties.
You will be responsible for reactive carpentry repairs. You will have the ability to safely and efficiently use tools and equipment, work independently or as part of a team, and ensure all work meets health, safety, and quality standards.
Start date: Mid to late March.
Hours: 37 hours per week. (10 - 6 pm Mon - Thurs, 10:30 - 6pm Fri)
Location: Coventry.
Duration: Ongoing
Pay rate: £20-£22 per hour + Van and Fuel Card.
Requirements:
- Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
- Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (desirable)
- CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
- Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
- Experience working within the social housing sector
- Proven understanding of health and safety best practice, with the ability to demonstrate how compliance has been maintained within a repairs and/or maintenance environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Full UK Driving Licence - this is an absolute requirement for this role
