Job Title: Contracts Manager - Hospitality, Pub & Commercial Fit-Out Location: West Midlands (with UK-wide project travel) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Company A well-established UK construction and refurbishment contractor with over 40 years' experience, specialising in the transformation of commercial spaces across the hospitality and leisure sectors. The business delivers high-quality interior and exterior fit-out and refurbishment projects for pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels and wider commercial environments. Acting as Principal Contractor, they manage projects from concept through to completion, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and long-term client relationships. Role Overview The Contracts Manager will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of hospitality, pub and commercial fit-out projects nationwide. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a client-facing role combining operational leadership, commercial management and stakeholder engagement across multiple live projects. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Site Management Take overall responsibility for multiple refurbishment and fit-out contracts. Manage and coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners. Monitor project programmes and drive performance to meet key milestones. Ensure strict adherence to health & safety policies and CDM regulations. Identify and mitigate project risks proactively. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within commercial fit-out or refurbishment. Strong background in hospitality, pub, leisure or similar fast-track environments. Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge (JCT preferred). Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
