We're looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join an award-winning maintenance team working for one of the UK's leading Housing Associations in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping communal areas looking their best, and knows their way around professional grounds maintenance equipment. You'll be looking after housing stock across the Birmingham area, helping to create clean, safe and well-maintained outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy. What will you be doing? No two days will be exactly the same. Your work will include: Grass cutting and maintaining communal green spaces Hedge and shrub trimming Strimming and pruning Weed control and litter picking Operating petrol-powered grounds maintenance equipment Using ride-on and stand-on mowers General grounds maintenance and associated dutiesA company van will be provided for work purposes, giving you everything you need to get out on the road and keep your sites looking their best. We're looking for someone with hands-on grounds maintenance experience who can hit the ground running. You'll need: Previous experience in grounds maintenance Experience with grass cutting, hedge and shrub cutting, pruning, strimming and weed control Experience operating petrol-powered machinery and ride-on mowers A full UK driving licence A good eye for detail and pride in your work PA1 & PA6 qualifications are ideal, but not essential Ready for your next opportunity?
