Think Recruitment are currently working with a forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Nottingham who are looking to grow their team with the addition of an experienced Civil Engineer. This business is proud of their strong client relationships, diverse project portfolio, and collaborative work environment. As they continue to grow, they are looking for talented and motivated Engineers to join their dynamic team, working on a wide range of infrastructure, drainage and development projects from initial concept through to construction.

Upon joining our client's team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and public sector projects
  • Preparation of drainage strategies, highway designs, and earthworks modelling
  • Production of drawings, reports, and calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microdrainage)
  • Liaison with clients, local authorities, and design team members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., SuDS, S104, S38, S278)

Ideally degree qualified with previous consultancy experience, you will have a good working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes along with experience with drainage and highways design software.
