Temporary Handyman / Caretaker - Student Accommodation
Location: Liverpool City Centre (L3 2BX)

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Caretaker to support the maintenance and compliance needs of a student accommodation building in Liverpool City Centre. The building will be unoccupied, offering a calm and well-structured work environment. This is an ideal short-term role for someone with basic repair skills and an eye for health & safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general repairs (e.g. doors, hinges, handles)
- Replacing lightbulbs and minor electrical work
- Basic plumbing and painting touch-ups
- Testing fire alarms and other compliance-related systems
- Conducting weekly building checks and recording findings
- Keeping communal areas tidy, safe, and in good condition
- Reporting any serious maintenance or safety issues to management
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, or caretaking roles
- Comfortable performing regular compliance and safety checks
- Good basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
- Able to work independently and manage their own workload
