Temporary Handyman / Caretaker – Student Accommodation\\n\\nLocation: Liverpool City Centre (L3 2BX)\\nWorking Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)\\nPay Rate: £14.10 per hour\\nContract Length: 4-5 weeks (Temporary Position)\\n\\nWe are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Caretaker to support the maintenance and compliance needs of a student accommodation building in Liverpool City Centre.\\n\\nThe building will be unoccupied, offering a calm and well-structured work environment. This is an ideal short-term role for someone with basic repair skills and an eye for health & safety compliance.\\n\\n Key Responsibilities:\\n\\nCarrying out general repairs (e.g. doors, hinges, handles)\\nReplacing lightbulbs and minor electrical work\\nBasic plumbing and painting touch-ups\\nTesting fire alarms and other compliance-related systems\\nConducting weekly building checks and recording findings\\nKeeping communal areas tidy, safe, and in good condition\\nReporting any serious maintenance or safety issues to managementThe Ideal Candidate:\\n\\nPrior experience in facilities, maintenance, or caretaking roles\\nComfortable performing regular compliance and safety checks\\nGood basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs\\nAble to work independently and manage their own workload\\nHealth & Safety awareness and attention to detailWe Offer:\\n\\n£14.10 per hour (weekly pay)\\n40 hours/week – Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM\\nCentral Liverpool location (L3 2BX)\\nNo evenings or weekends required\\nFriendly, quiet work environment (no students on-site)\\nPotential for further work on future projectsStart date : 7th of July
