This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator looking to play a key role in delivering a range of affordable housing and regeneration projects across the Midlands. The Role

As a Senior Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the technical delivery of multiple residential developments from planning through to completion. Working closely with internal departments, consultants and local authorities, the Senior Technical Coordinator will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all technical and design information for residential developments
  • Appoint, manage and monitor external consultants and specialist designers
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
  • Liaise with planning, building control, utility providers and statutory authorities
  • Ensure technical approvals are secured in line with project programmes
  • Attend site meetings and provide technical support to construction teams
  • Coordinate utility applications, service connections and infrastructure requirements
  • Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support the wider technical team and mentor junior team members where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator within the residential housing sector
  • Strong understanding of residential construction, design and technical processes
  • Experience managing consultants and external stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of planning, building regulations and NHBC requirements
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
