Experienced and professional Grounds Maintenance Operative required to work with a leading and highly reputable Birmingham based Housing Association. My client requires an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operator to join their award winning maintenance division on an ongoing temporary contract.

- Duration: Cover long term sickness, likely to be multiple months
Responsibilities
- Take pride in delivering high-quality grass cutting across our estates and communal areas.
- Using a range of modern tools and equipment, ensure every lawn is left looking neat, tidy and well cared for.
- Responsible for the safe removal and disposal of green waste, helping keep all sites clean, tidy and environmentally compliant.
- From hedge and bush reduction to careful shaping and trimming, play a key part in keeping our landscapes healthy, attractive and well-maintained all year round.
- Use strimmers and other powered tools to give borders, edges and hard-to-reach spots a crisp, polished finish.
- Carry out effective weed control using approved methods, helping keep estates presentable and supporting long-term landscape health.
- Take ownership of shrub pruning, maintenance and seasonal planting, contributing to colourful, vibrant and welcoming outdoor spaces.
- Play an important role in maintaining safe and attractive estates through regular litter picking and general site tidying.
- Support the upkeep of paved and slabbed areas with light repairs, sweeping, weed treatment and general maintenance.
Requirements
- PA1 & PA6 spraying licence (ideal but not essential)
- Banksman training
- Licence to drive a trailer
