Asset Surveyor Required To Join Leading Birmingham/Midlands Housing Association On A Permanent Contract. \\n\\nMy client one of Birmingham's most highly reputable housing associations requires an Asset surveyor to join their maintenance & asset division. You will be a key part of their organization helping them manage and maintain their large housing stock of 30,000 homes across Birmingham, Worcester, Hereford & Coventry.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nLead and manage multiple investment projects using effective project, contract and budget management.\\nEnsure customer's requirements are defined, detailed, considered, and respected making sure that customers are always informed of issues and progress.\\nPrepare and submit documentation as required to obtain Statutory Approvals including Planning and Building Regulations requirements and to ensure all required permissions are obtained.\\nPlan, manage, monitor and coordinate the health and safety of a project to comply with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.\\nIdentify HHSRS hazards in domestic properties, ensure hazards are reported promptly, and arrange any repairs or specialist surveys required.\\nIdentify emergency repairs, such as damp and mould as defined under Awaab's Law, ensuring they are reported and progressed in accordance with the required timescales.\\nUndertake Access Audits to communal areas and prepare detailed reports to identify compliance with DDA requirements and to recommend and specify improvementsSalary: £45,074\\n\\nHours: 37 hours per week\\n\\nLocations: Birmingham, Coventry, Worcester, Hereford\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\nAnnual Leave: Annual leave starts at 26 days per year, (increasing by 1 day per full years service up to 31 days) plus bank holidays,\\nAnnual leave purchase scheme – option to buy up to an additional 5 days per year\\nEnhanced family leave (maternity, paternity and adoption)\\nOrganisational sick pay\\nGenerous Pension Scheme – The option to contribute 4%, 6% or up to 10% which Citizen will match\\nHealth and Wellness: Comprehensive health insurance and wellness programs.\\nWork-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and generous leave policies.\\nEmployee Development: Access to training programs and career development resources.\\nMobile Working – Mileage and working hours calculated from home to place of work\\nMileage paid in accordance with HMRC rates \\n\\nRequirements: \\n\\nExperience of procurement and delivery of major works programmes including contract management, budgetary control and stakeholder consultation.\\nKnowledge and understanding of standard forms of contract as applicable to the construction industry.\\nKnowledge and understanding of the legislative frameworks applicable to the housing sector for example PAS 2030/PAS 2035, Awaab's Law, CDM regulations, Decent Homes.\\nKnowledge of Construction, Housing Disrepair and building pathology\\nKnowledge of Planning and Building Regulations and the Building Safety Regulator.
