Domestic Electrician required to work in Redditch with a leading Midlands based Maintenance & Repairs contractor on their social housing contracts. My client, one of the Midlands most highly reputable maintenance contractors, is looking for an experienced and professional electrician to carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance on domestic properties.

We are looking for a team player; you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

Work will include carrying out remedial work, general electrical maintenance, and repairs across our clients' customers' properties. You will also be responsible for undertaking all electrical repairs and maintenance to a high-quality standard whilst delivering excellent customer service.

Details:
  • Pay: £23 - £26 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) Paid Weekly.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Redditch and surrounding areas
  • Duration: 6 months plus
Requirements:
  • NVQ L3 or City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation
  • City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection is desirable
  • 18th Edition regulation
  • Own Vehicle

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
  • Experience of working for an electrical maintenance contractor, social landlord, housing association or council.
  • Experience of delivering responsive and planned electrical repairs
  • Full current valid driving licence essential as this is a mobile role
