Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £39,678 per annum Van Supplied & Fuel Card

Additional Earnings: Up to £43,000+ per annum including standby

The Role

Think Property Services are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Electrician to join a busy property maintenance and construction team, working across Ashington and Spennymoor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join a well-established housing maintenance environment, carrying out high-quality electrical repairs and associated multi-skilled works across domestic and commercial properties.

As a Multi Skilled Electrician, you will be responsible for undertaking damp associated electrical repairs, general electrical maintenance, testing, inspection and accompanying multi-skilled repairs. You will be expected to deliver work to a high standard while providing an excellent customer-focused service to tenants and residents.

Duties Will Include:

  • Carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance in domestic and commercial properties
  • Undertaking damp associated electrical works
  • Completing testing, inspection and fault finding
  • Delivering associated multi-skilled repairs where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high-quality standard
  • Working in a target-driven repairs and maintenance environment
  • Providing excellent customer service when dealing with tenants, residents and internal teams
  • Representing the organisation professionally while working in local communities
  • Adapting to new ways of working and contributing positively to service improvements

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • NVQ or City & Guilds qualification as an Electrician
  • 18th Edition Testing and Inspection qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working in domestic and/or commercial property maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of electrical repairs, building maintenance and relevant regulations
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • A professional and positive attitude when dealing with customers, tenants and colleagues
