Electrician in Spennymoor

Domestic Electrician required to work with leading Spennymoor based Housing Association covering theDurhamand Surrounding North East region.

My client one of the North Easts leading housing associations is looking to recruit an experienced and professional electrician to carry reactive and planned electrical maintenance on a permanent contract.

We are looking for a team player, you\’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You\’ll be working in people\’s homes, so you\’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.?You\’ll also need to be organized and recognize the importance of delivering good customer service.

Work will include carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will be also responsible for undertaking all damp associated electrical repairs and accompanying multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering an excellent customer service

Whats on offer:

Basic salary of £38,225per annum – with the opportunity to earn £43,000 plus

28days holiday plus bank holidays

Van + Fuel Card

Mobile phone, iPad & lone worker device provided

Early finish on a Friday

Requirements:

NVQ L3 or City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification

City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection is desirable

18th Edition regulation

We are looking for someone who has:

Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting

Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.

Experience of delivering responsive repairs

Full current valid driving License?essential as this is a mobile role

As you will be working within Customer\’s homes this role requires a DBS check.
