Senior Site Manager Peterborough

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a £22m new-build leisure centre project in Peterborough.
The project will be working to an intensive programme, so we are looking for a proactive and hands-on Senior Site Manager with strong leadership skills
and experience delivering large-scale new build construction projects.
Role Details:
- Location: Peterborough
- Project: £22m new-build leisure centre
- Start Date: Mid-November 2026
- Duration: 8090 weeks
- Programme: Intensive build programme
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works progress in line with the programme.
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, site teams and deliveries.
- Monitoring progress against key milestones and addressing any delays.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship throughout the project.
- Coordinating with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure efficient delivery.
- Managing site documentation, including RAMS, permits and site reports.
- Ensuring the site remains organised, safe and compliant throughout the build.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Temp Works Coordinator or Supervisor ticket preferred.
- Strong subcontractor management and programme delivery experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, intensive programme.
