Domestic Electrician required to work with a leading Spennymoor based Housing Association covering the Durham and surrounding North East region. My client, one of the North East's leading housing associations, is looking to recruit an experienced and professional electrician to carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance on a permanent contract.
We are looking for a team player; you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organized and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Work will include:
- Carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties.
- Undertaking all damp associated electrical repairs and accompanying multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering excellent customer service.
What's on offer:
- Basic salary of £38,225 per annum - with the opportunity to earn £43,000 plus 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.

- Mobile phone, iPad & lone worker device provided.
- Early finish on a Friday.
Requirements:
- NVQ L3 or City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification.
- City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection is desirable.
- 18th Edition regulation.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting.
- Experience of working for a social landlord, housing association or council.
- Experience of delivering responsive repairs.
- Full current valid driving license essential as this is a mobile role.
As you will be working within customers' homes, this role requires a DBS check.
