Ground Workers required to work with Newcastle and North East based Local Council. I am looking for a groundworker to work in the Newcastle area on behalf of a local council. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out work including laying kerbs, pothole repairs, flagging, tarmacking, drainage, digging footings and general labouring.
The Operative will receive:
- £17 P/H Umbrella
- Long run of work until 2027
The successful candidate will be expected to complete:
- Laying kerbs
- Tarmacking
- Digging footings
- Drainage
- General labouring
- Other civil engineering works
Hours: 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 12:30pm on Friday - 37 hours per week.
I am really keen in speaking to anyone who has:
- Previous experience in the above
- CSCS Card and any other relevant tickets
- General groundworks experience (3 - 5 years minimum)
- HGV licence would be desirable
- Must have full UK driving licence
