My client, one of the Midlands leading and highly reputable housing associations, requires a Grounds Maintenance Assurance Officer to join their driving in-house team on an initial 6 month temporary basis. The role is based from their newly built modern Worcester office.
Main duties of this role cover supporting the Grounds Maintenance team during the transition period of bringing work in-house from external contractors. To provide assurance regarding the validity and accuracy of information held relating to all communal green spaces owned by the housing association.
- Reconcile Land Registry data with that held on the GIS (Geographic Information System) through analysis, pictorial information, colleague knowledge and where necessary site visits.
- Update and maintain GIS for all Estate Services activities and areas of responsibility.
- Assist in service charge queries and calculations, representing the Grounds Maintenance Service and supporting the financial project to align service charges throughout the housing association.
- Support the Grounds Maintenance Management team by conducting internal audits and identifying any areas for improvement.
- Assist in responding to complaints and enquiries and assist in the investigation of complaints and ensure that they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Carry out administrative functions as required, including dealing with routine correspondence and enquiries.
Start date: As soon as suitable candidates are available
Hours: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday
Location: Worcester
Pay rate: £16.45 per hour (Paid weekly)
Requirements:
- Good Level of IT Skills (Microsoft Excel in particular)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience ideally in a similar role/contract administration
- Experience with Land Registry Data
