Experienced and professional Street Cleansing Operative required to work with a leading and highly reputable Local Authority. My client requires an experienced Street Cleansing Operative to join their award-winning maintenance division on an ongoing temporary contract.
Location: Walsall Council
Pay: £20.10 per hour (Paid weekly via umbrella)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 4 days per week. 1 rest day within the week.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (potentially a rolling contract)
Driving the mini road sweepers - vehicles are over 3.5 tonne.
Essential (DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE BELOW PLEASE):
- CPC qualification
- Tacho Card and C1 licence
- Full UK driving licence - No more than 3 points on licence.
Grounds maintenance operational services include:
- Grass maintenance
- Border maintenance
- Fine turf maintenance
- Sports pitch provision
- Hedge maintenance
- Seasonal bedding
- Arboriculture (tree works)
- Burials & cemetery operations
Domestic household door to door collections and associated functions include:
- Bin delivery
- Removal of bagged waste
- Assisted collections (domestic refuse, recycling & garden waste)
Commercial waste & recycling collection services.
Street cleansing operational services include:
- Litter picking
- Graffiti removal
- Fly tipping
- Site clearance and tidy up works
- Bulky item collections
- Mechanical sweeping operations
Street Cleansing Duties include (not limited to):
- Street cleansing services

- Play area inspections
