Building Safety Manager to work on a fixed term contract for 12 months. My client, one of the Midlands leading and highly reputable housing associations, requires an experienced and professional Building Safety Manager to join their team!
Salary: £39,922.49 per annum plus Essential Car User allowance
Contract type: Fixed term contract for 12 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Stafford with regular travel across the wider region
What skills and experience we are looking for:
- Holds NEBOSH General certificate in H&S at work or equivalent (E)
- Detailed knowledge of ACOP L8 - Legionnaires' disease, the control of legionella bacteria in water systems, and experience of implementing and managing control policies, procedures, and processes to conform to the ACOP (E)
- Detailed knowledge of LOLER & PUWER Regulations and experience of implementing and managing control policies, procedures, and processes to conform to the regulations (E)
- Detailed knowledge of Asbestos in Buildings or equivalent (E)
- Detailed working knowledge of operational Fire life safety systems installation and maintenance (E)
- Detailed working knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations (E)
- Experience of working in a risk and compliance environment in a client-based role (E)
- Previous experience of managing multiple commercial and residential sites, including commercial contract management and contract procurement for commercial services and products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Must have UK driving licence and access to vehicle for business use. Mileage expenses are paid.
