An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Litigation lawyer to join a highly regarded national law firm in Leeds as either a Legal Director or Partner. This is a genuine strategic hire within a well-established national team of more than 50 property litigation specialists, including a thriving Leeds team of 13 lawyers. The firm is recognised for its collaborative culture, high-quality work and commitment to developing and progressing its people.

Who is this role suited for?

  • An existing Legal Director seeking a clear and realistic pathway to Partnership

  • A senior property disputes lawyer with strong market contacts and business development capability (a following is not required)

Work

The team advises a broad range of public and private sector clients on complex and high-value property disputes, including:

  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Lease renewals and security of tenure matters
  • Dilapidations claims
  • Development and regeneration projects
  • Telecommunications and Electronic Communications Code issues
  • Property-related contractual disputes
  • Strategic portfolio management and asset protection matters

Recent instructions have included:

  • Advising major public sector organisations on large-scale property portfolios
  • Supporting multi-million‑pound city centre regeneration projects
  • Acting on complex disputes involving development land and strategic assets
  • Advising on telecommunications infrastructure affecting redevelopment opportunities
  • Managing significant dilapidations and lease renewal disputes
  • Providing strategic property litigation support to national organisations with extensive real estate holdings
