Our client, a well-established national law firm, is seeking an ambitious Property Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team in Manchester.
About the Role: This is a genuinely varied property litigation position offering exposure to high-quality, complex work. You will be working closely with the national head of the department on matters that go far beyond routine lease renewals and break notices. The caseload includes:
- Boundary disputes and title issues
- Wayleaves and telecommunications matters
- Rights to light
- Building Safety Act compliance for developer clients
- Forfeiture and vacant possession matters supporting the restructuring team
- Landlord and tenant disputes under the 1954 Act
- Acting for housebuilders on contentious property matters
The team has recently secured a significant national client with a portfolio of 300+ properties, many with unique and complex issues, presenting excellent development opportunities.
What They’re Looking For:
- 1-5 years PQE in property litigation (ideally)
- A proactive approach - someone who can take matters as far as possible independently before seeking senior input
- Genuine enthusiasm for property litigation and intellectual curiosity for complex problems
- Drive and ambition to develop expertise across diverse property matters
- The ability to think beyond process-driven work
