One of the UK's leading real estate disputes teams is looking to appoint a Real Estate Litigation Partner into its Leeds office. This is an opportunity to join a genuinely market-leading practice with one of the largest real estate teams in the North, advising many of the UK's best-known investors, occupiers, developers and landlords on some of the most complex and high-value property disputes in the market.

The Leeds team is well established, currently comprising two Partners supported by several Managing Associates and Associates, and forms part of a much larger national real estate practice. With an exceptional platform, high-quality clients and a collaborative culture, this is an outstanding opportunity for a Partner to join at a very exciting time.

The Role

The team acts on a broad range of complex commercial property disputes, including:

  • Opposed lease renewals and Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 matters
  • High-value dilapidations claims
  • Break notices and vacant possession strategies
  • Service charge and rent review disputes
  • Development agreement and overage disputes
  • Rights of way, easements and rights of light
  • Property insolvency, administrations and CVAs
  • Breach of covenant and contractual disputes
  • High Court litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation

The work is strategic, technically challenging and commercially focused, with clients relying on the team to protect valuable property assets and deliver pragmatic solutions.
