We're working with a top‑tier, globally recognised law firm to find a talented Solicitor or Associate to join their busy Commercial team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high‑value, complex commercial matters across a diverse client base spanning the public and private sectors within a team that is leading the way on technology and innovation.

The Role

You’ll be joining a well‑established Commercial team that forms a key part of a wider Commercial, Regulatory and Data Practice Group. The team advises clients globally on critical commercial contracting matters including:

  • Supply and services agreements
  • Technology and IP agreements
  • Public sector procurement and local government frameworks
  • AI contracting and commodity agreements
  • Bespoke contractual terms and conditions

You’ll work directly with clients across retail, manufacturing, technology, energy and the public sector — drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts, supporting corporate due diligence, and contributing to long‑term client relationships.

About You

To be considered for this role you’ll need:

  • A qualified solicitor with solid commercial contracts experience – upwards of 6 months, though ideally 1 PQE and above
  • Strong drafting skills and the confidence to negotiate
  • A commercially minded approach with genuine curiosity about clients’ business objectives
  • Proven relationship‑building skills with both clients and colleagues
  • Self‑motivation and a commitment to delivering high‑quality legal advice
  • A collaborative mindset and a drive to grow within a national practice
