We are working exclusively with a leading UK retailer to source an experienced interim legal professional for an immediate requirement within their established head office legal team. This is a commercially-focused, high-volume role suited to someone who can hit the ground running. You'll be embedded within a collaborative legal function supporting multiple business units across a business with significant international reach.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including framework contracts, IT agreements, and trademark licences.
  • Supporting major business initiatives including commercial partnerships, joint ventures, and new ventures.
  • Advising on regulatory compliance, data protection, consumer law, and marketing materials.
  • Managing ad hoc legal queries and contributing to the resolution of commercial disputes.

A technically strong, commercially minded lawyer who is available at short notice and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment. You'll be advising senior stakeholders from day one, so a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach is essential.

Client criteria:

  • Qualified Solicitors with 5+ years PQE in commercial law.
  • Experienced Senior Legal Advisors, Legal Executives, or Commercial Contracts Managers with substantial in-house experience.
