Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join their award-winning division in Leeds at Senior Associate level.
As a virtual in-house lawyer, you'll work embedded within client teams – primarily large financial services organisations and household-name retailers – while benefiting from the backing and resources of a global firm. You'll be part of a collaborative environment that blends lawyers, managers, process experts, and technology specialists to deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including outsourcing agreements, technology contracts, supply agreements, T&Cs, and NDAs
- Provide strategic legal advice on commercial transactions and compliance matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored legal solutions
- Collaborate across teams to design effective, integrated legal services
- Drive continuous improvement through legal technology and process innovation
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 5+ years PQE
- Strong commercial contracts experience (in-house or private practice)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all seniority levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Technology proficient and adaptable to new tools and systems
- Collaborative team player with initiative and flexibility to manage changing priorities
