We are pleased to present these opportunities on behalf of our client, a major housebuilding company. Our client is a FTSE 250 listed industry leader that delivers approximately 15,000 homes a year. These roles are ideal for professionals looking to specialise in legal matters surrounding land acquisition and housing association partnerships within a high-performing environment.
The Role
You will typically report to the Group Solicitor and provide legal support to various regional offices. The workload is predominantly property-focused, specialising in affordable housing and investor sales. Key responsibilities include advising on general land matters, assisting with disposals, and managing planning and infrastructure work. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with regional offices. For certain locations, you may act as a technical lead, providing day-to-day supervisory responsibility for the regional team.
Candidate Requirements
You must be a qualified Solicitor or a fully qualified Legal Executive (CILEX). A minimum of 2 years PQE is required. Experience in affordable housing sales, land options, conditional contracts, and infrastructure agreements would be beneficial. Previous experience working for a housebuilder, whether in-house or in private practice, is a significant advantage. You should be a tenacious, approachable, and energetic individual who can "hit the ground running". Excellent social and communication skills with a confident telephone manner are essential.
