In-house Legal Counsel
North Leeds
A highly strategic, global business based in North Leeds is seeking an exceptional lawyer to join its expanding legal team in this newly created role.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both the legal function and the broader business, providing strategic advice to the board and key stakeholders across all legal matters.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, alongside advising on corporate governance, data privacy, technology and compliance matters.
Ideal candidate
- A UK-qualified lawyer with strong commercial, technology and/or data privacy experience
- Capable of working autonomously with a proactive, self-starting approach
- Skilled at managing competing stakeholder priorities effectively
- Ideally possessing in-house experience, though exceptional private practice lawyers will also be considered
