Are you an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer looking for your next interim opportunity? We are working with a well‑established business in the North West to find an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer for an initial 6‑month fixed term contract. This is an immediate start role and we are only able to consider candidates who are available now or within the next few days.
The Role
You will join an established in‑house legal team and hit the ground running from day one. Working independently and at pace, you will be responsible for a broad commercial contracts workload across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
- Supplier and vendor contracts
- Customer and commercial terms
- Services and procurement agreements
- Novation of contracts
- Stakeholder management across the business at all levels
The Person
You will be a qualified solicitor with solid post‑qualification experience in commercial contracts, ideally gained either in‑house or in private practice with a strong commercial client base. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload, and delivering at pace with minimal supervision.
Location
North West preferred. Hybrid and remote working is available and will be discussed at interview.
