A well-established law firm with offices across West Yorkshire is looking for a Wills & Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their friendly and experienced private client team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid technical ability who is looking to develop their career in a supportive environment. You'll be running your own caseload covering the full range of private client work – wills, lasting powers of attorney, and probate administration – with plenty of backup from knowledgeable colleagues around you. The firm is a great place to work where people and culture are at the heart of everything they do. As one of the first law firms nationally to adopt an employee‑owned model, the employees own the firm and share the profits of the business equally amongst themselves, whether they are a legal assistant or a partner.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing your own varied caseload from initial instructions through to completion
  • Drafting wills and LPAs
  • Dealing with estate administration matters
  • Handling new enquiries and supporting the wider team when needed

What they're looking for:

  • Around 3‑5 years' PQE or equivalent experience in wills and probate
  • Current practising certificate (or Legal Executive qualification)
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to explain complex matters clearly to clients
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A team player who is comfortable working independently when needed
  • Full UK driving licence (you'll occasionally need to cover other nearby offices)

The practical bits:

  • Full‑time, permanent role
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Flexible working across their West Yorkshire offices
