Employment Associate (2–6 PQE) | Newcastle | Hybrid Working

A highly regarded national law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Associate (2–6 PQE) to join its growing team in Newcastle.

The Role

You will join a collaborative team advising a broad client base across both the private and public sectors. The work is varied and offers a strong mix ofcontentious, advisory and corporate support matters, giving you exposure to the full spectrum of employment law.

Typical work includes:

  • Advising employers, HR teams, in-house counsel and senior executives on day-to-day employment issues

  • Managing Employment Tribunal matters including discrimination and whistleblowing claims

  • Advising on disciplinary processes, grievances, dismissals, redundancy and restructuring

  • Drafting employment contracts, policies and other key documentation

  • Supporting on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, includingTUPE

  • Assisting with internal workplace investigations

  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues across other practice areas

You will havegood client exposure from the outset, while working within a supportive team environment where partners and senior lawyers remain approachable and invested in development.
