We are recruiting for a long-standing and growing commercial practice in Manchester City Centre. The firm has a sharp focus on commercial clients and has long been servicing the needs of a range of businesses from big to small alongside a healthy Claimant profile of employment work. Their natural profile clientele is often OMB and SMEs but it would be misleading to suggest they don’t get involved in larger clients or larger deals. They do.

They operate very much as key trusted advisers to clients whether individual or corporate and so anyone considering this role must have a key desire to work closely with clients and build those relationships.

The firm is looking for an experienced employment solicitor with a mix of Claimant and Respondent work. There is a preference for those with a good level of PQE but ideally they think someone with 1 to 3 years PQE would fit well within the current team structure.

The firm can offer a good level of responsibility as well as the opportunity to work closely with a lead partner. One real plus point is that the firm places strong emphasis on ensuring a balanced work culture and the long hours culture which can be seen elsewhere is neither encouraged nor visible here.

If you are an employment solicitor considering your next move and this sounds of interest then send over your CV or contact Paul Warburton for a confidential discussion.
