Senior Associate β Property Litigation
If you're a Property Litigation Senior Associate looking for something a little different, this is well worth a conversation.
I'm working with a highly regarded commercial law firm looking to strengthen its established Property Litigation team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Associate.
The team is known for the quality of its work, the calibre of its clients and, just as importantly, the genuinely supportive culture they've built.
This isn't a volume litigation role.
You'll be advising on complex, often high-profile property disputes, working alongside experienced specialists and acting for developers, landowners, insurers and major commercial organisations on some genuinely interesting matters.
The work has a strong focus on title indemnity claims and development-related property disputes, including:
- Rights to light
- Restrictive covenants
- Easements and access issues
- Mines and minerals
- Title defects and other development constraints
Alongside the technical work, you'll also play an important role within the team itself.
If you enjoy mentoring junior lawyers, sharing your experience and helping develop those around you, you'll have plenty of opportunity to do that here.
The firm offers the kind of flexibility many lawyers are looking for without compromising on the quality of work.
You'll have access to major commercial clients, varied instructions across both private sector and public sector work, and the chance to continue building your profile within a well-respected litigation team.
- What they're looking for
- Senior Associate level experience in Property Litigation
- Strong experience handling title indemnity claims and/or development-related real property disputes
- Excellent technical and commercial judgement
- Strong drafting and client management skills
- A collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- Why this opportunity stands out
- High-quality commercial property litigation work
- Excellent client base including major commercial organisations
- Genuine opportunity to develop your leadership skills
- Supportive, collaborative team culture
- Hybrid working
- Competitive salary and an attractive bonus scheme with realistic targets
- Generous annual leave, private healthcare, pension and paid sabbatical scheme
