About this vacancy
Our client, a well-established and growing law firm with a strong regional presence, is looking for a solicitor with NQ – 5 years' PQE to join their thriving Agriculture, Estates and Rural Property team — a team that continues to see exceptional success within the sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising on some or all of the following:
- Selling, buying or letting rural property, including farms, landed estates, amenity land and woodland
- Easements and rights of way, private or public
- Agricultural tenancies, including successions
- Minerals ownership, including title, registration and trespass issues
- Working mines and minerals
- Estate management work
- First registrations
- Sporting rights (shooting and fishing)
- Rural property secured lending (acting for lenders and/or borrowers)
- Renewable energy and energy storage schemes, such as options and leases for solar farm
Candidates from a commercial property background with a genuine interest in specialising in rural and landed estates work will also be considered.
Our client is looking for someone proactive, a self-starter, with strong technical ability. They're also keen to find someone with excellent people and client management skills, an interest in business development, and good commercial awareness.
