About the Role
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking to share your knowledge and shape the next generation of professionals? A fastâgrowing, Ofstedârated 'Good' training provider is expanding its technical team and seeking a dedicated Skills Coach to deliver the Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3). What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging and structured training aligned with the Level 3 apprenticeship standard (ST0189).
- Guide learners through installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire, emergency, and security systems.
- Offer oneâonâone mentoring, portfolio development support, and progress tracking.
- Balance remote working with funded site visits and occasional overnight travel.
- Contribute to internal quality and continual improvement processes.
What You'll Need
- Solid experience in fire and/or security systems (installation, commissioning, and maintenance).
- Strong practical hand skills and confidence to demonstrate core techniques.
- Clear communication and mentoring skills with a passion for guiding apprentices.
- Willingness to complete a fully funded teaching qualification (if not already held).
