Location: Greater London | Contract Type: Permanent | Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum | Start Date: ASAP (or when filled)

The Role

  • Deliver structured teaching and assessment across Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician standards.
  • Supervise and support apprentice engineers in both technical and personal development.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, technically accurate lessons with hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and progress planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality standards.

About You

  • Strong practical experience in Fire & Security installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Deep technical knowledge in one or more of: SIA, FireQual, Milestone Advanced, or equivalent.
  • Confident in delivering practical and theory-based learning.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ideally, hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work toward one).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience is essential.
  • Willing to travel occasionally to support delivery needs.
  • Candidates with less than 3 years’ experience may be considered if they bring recent hands-on skills and a strong desire to teach.
