The Role
- Deliver structured teaching and assessment across Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician standards.
- Supervise and support apprentice engineers in both technical and personal development.
- Plan and deliver engaging, technically accurate lessons with hands-on learning opportunities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and progress planning.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality standards.
About You
- Strong practical experience in Fire & Security installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Deep technical knowledge in one or more of: SIA, FireQual, Milestone Advanced, or equivalent.
- Confident in delivering practical and theory-based learning.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ideally, hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work toward one).
- Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience is essential.
- Willing to travel occasionally to support delivery needs.
- Candidates with less than 3 years’ experience may be considered if they bring recent hands-on skills and a strong desire to teach.
