We are seeking an experienced construction or building services professional to lead the Department of Construction. The role offers an opportunity for a curriculum manager, programme manager, or industry professional to step into a senior leadership position within further education.
Key responsibilities- Lead the Construction/Structural Technologies curriculum area with a focus on quality and performance
- Implement effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement
- Support students identified as at risk of underachievement
- Drive continuous improvement through the college’s quality processes
- Develop strong relationships with employers and industry stakeholders
- Ensure curriculum provision aligns with local skills priorities and labour market demands
- Support staff development and maintain high standards across the department
- Level 4/5 qualification in a relevant construction or building services discipline
