We are seeking an experienced construction or building services professional to lead the Department of Construction. The role offers an opportunity for a curriculum manager, programme manager, or industry professional to step into a senior leadership position within further education.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the Construction/Structural Technologies curriculum area with a focus on quality and performance
  • Implement effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies
  • Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement
  • Support students identified as at risk of underachievement
  • Drive continuous improvement through the college’s quality processes
  • Develop strong relationships with employers and industry stakeholders
  • Ensure curriculum provision aligns with local skills priorities and labour market demands
  • Support staff development and maintain high standards across the department
Essential qualifications
  • Level 4/5 qualification in a relevant construction or building services discipline
