The Role

  • You will deliver engaging and industry‑relevant teaching across Level 1 to Level 5 programmes, including BTEC qualifications and T Levels.
  • You will support learners to develop both technical knowledge and employability skills, preparing them for progression into higher education or the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching across Level 1–5 Computing (BTEC and T Level)
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet diverse learner needs
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Computing (degree strongly preferred due to Level 5 teaching)
  • Experience teaching in further education, ideally with BTEC and/or T Level programmes
  • Strong subject knowledge across core computing topics
  • Relevant industry experience in computing or IT
  • Passion for teaching and supporting learner success

Desirable

  • Teaching Qualification (TQ) or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience delivering T Levels (although BTEC‑only experience will also be considered)
