Working Hours & Contract Details

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:45 (1‑hour lunch)
  • Friday: 08:30 – 16:15 (1‑hour lunch)
  • Contract Duration: 5 January – 2 April 2026
  • Pay: £16–£17 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE, weekly)

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver employability sessions that build confidence, work‑ready skills, and personal development;
  • Supervise activities and community‑based trips;
  • Provide one‑to‑one mentoring and support to learners facing personal, social, or educational barriers;
  • Help learners stay on track toward a positive destination such as employment, further study or training;
  • Liaise with the college and JGW+ coordinators to ensure each learner’s individual plan is followed.
