Are you an experienced learner recruitment professional with a passion for building effective recruitment strategies and leading high-performing teams? Think FE are working with a nationally recognised apprenticeship training provider seeking an Apprenticeship Recruitment & Onboarding Lead to oversee and develop their learner recruitment function. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of recruitment strategy, lead a growing team, and play a key role in connecting learners with apprenticeship opportunities across the UK.
This hybrid position offers flexibility on location, but you must be willing to travel regularly to meet with colleagues and stakeholders face‐to‐face.
The Role
As Apprenticeship Recruitment & Onboarding Lead, you will manage and develop a team responsible for attracting, recruiting, and onboarding apprenticeship learners. You'll work closely with employer partners to understand their hiring requirements and ensure recruitment activity aligns with workforce needs and apprenticeship targets.
- Leading and managing a team of 3 Talent Acquisition Specialists and 4 Onboarding Executives
- Developing and implementing learner recruitment strategies to meet organisational targets
- Using recruitment data and market insights to drive performance improvements and decision‐making
- Building strong relationships with employer partners and understanding their apprenticeship recruitment requirements
- Monitoring recruitment pipelines and ensuring a positive learner journey from application through onboarding
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience within learner recruitment, apprenticeship recruitment, or education recruitment
- Strong experience developing and implementing recruitment strategies
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate insights into action
- Proven leadership experience, ideally managing recruitment or onboarding teams
- Awareness of apprenticeship funding rules and compliance requirements, or a willingness to learn
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
