The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for creating and delivering a commercially focused marketing strategy that generates measurable results. You'll lead the in-house marketing team, oversee campaign delivery across multiple channels, and ensure marketing activity directly supports business growth objectives. You'll use data and insights to optimise campaign performance, reporting on lead generation, revenue and return on investment (ROI) to senior leaders while continually identifying new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the organisation's commercial marketing strategy.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the in-house marketing team.
  • Drive growth across apprenticeship recruitment, employer engagement, commercial training, skills on-demand, brand development, employer branding and recruitment marketing.
  • Plan, deliver and optimise ROI-focused marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance using data and analytics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximise return on investment.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align marketing activity with organisational objectives.
  • Oversee digital marketing activity including SEO, PPC, CRM, marketing automation and analytics.

  • Significant experience leading marketing within a commercial organisation.
  • Experience managing, coaching and developing marketing teams.
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable business growth.
