Temporary Animal Care Lecturer (Level 1 and 2)

Rate: £150-£200 per day

Contract: Starting 17th February for 6-8 weeks to cover permanent recruitment. 37 hours per week.

We are seeking a passionate individual to cover teaching for our Level 1 and 2 Animal Care courses. This is a temporary role whilst the College recruit a permanent member of staff - you are also welcome to apply for the permanent position.

Day to day you will:

  • Set and monitor academic targets for students
  • Prepare and deliver course materials to students in line with the curriculum
  • Ensure college and awarding body standards are met

Requirements

  • Degree in Animal Care (desirable)
  • Experience teaching Level 1 and 2 is essential and teaching of level 3 students would also be beneficial
  • A teaching qualification is highly desirable but not essential
