We are recruiting a Work Placement Coordinator Construction for a well-established further education college in Northampton.

You will work with construction employers, curriculum teams and Careers colleagues to secure high-quality work experience and Industry Placements for students.

What will you do?

  • Source and support work experience and Industry Placements within construction.
  • Build relationships with employers and other key stakeholders.
  • Arrange masterclasses, careers talks, interview practice and virtual work experiences.
  • Monitor placement hours to ensure funding requirements are met.
  • Check placement providers can offer appropriate supervision and a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with curriculum teams to identify suitable placement opportunities.

What are we looking for?

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with employers or clients.
  • Strong links to, or experience within, the construction sector.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and HSE standards.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to your own transport.
