We're working with a specialist college in Northamptonshire that is looking for a Construction Employer Engagement & Partnerships Officer to connect construction employers with students preparing to enter the industry.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll spend your time speaking with employers, arranging work placements, visiting businesses, supporting students and helping create opportunities that lead to future employment.
- What you'll be doing
- Building relationships with local construction companies and industry partners
- Finding work placement opportunities for students
- Visiting employers and placement sites across the region
- Matching students with suitable placements
- Supporting employers throughout the placement process
- Organising careers events, employer talks and industry engagement activities
- Working with construction tutors to understand student and employer needs
- Monitoring placements and ensuring the required paperwork and compliance checks are completed
- Helping students develop valuable industry experience before they enter employment
