We are working with a respected and forward-thinking further education college in Lewisham to recruit a passionate and skilled Level 1 Multi-Skills Lecturer. The college is committed to providing high-quality technical education, supporting learners in developing hands-on skills across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical. This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical Level 1 Multi-Skills lessons to learners aged 16
- Monitor student progress and support achievement in line with curriculum standards
- Assess and track learners' development through both formative and summative assessments
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
You Must Have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- An Assessing Qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/33)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Prior experience teaching Multi-Skills in a Further Education setting
