A leading further education college in Northamptonshire, known for its commitment to quality and community engagement, is seeking a Governance & Executive Officer to provide strategic administrative and compliance support to its executive leadership and governing board.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position requiring a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will:
- Coordinate and support board and committee meetings, including governance events and seminars.
- Prepare, format, and distribute meeting papers and record accurate minutes.
- Maintain governance records and act as a key contact for governors.
- Provide timely and professional GDPR support, managing logs and updates.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, compliance tracking, and staff updates.
- Provide confidential administrative support to the executive team.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong experience in regulated environments (e.g., governance, legal, compliance).
- Solid knowledge of GDPR and data protection best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
