Think FE are working with a well-regarded further education college in Northamptonshire that is looking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Business Lecturer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced FE Business Lecturer or a secondary school Business teacher looking to transition into further education.
The role will involve delivering BTEC Business programmes to learners across a range of levels, supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes while helping them develop the skills needed for progression into employment or higher education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Business lessons
- Plan, prepare and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements
- Support student achievement, retention and progression
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities
- Maintain accurate learner records and provide constructive feedback
- A degree in Business or a related subject
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards an AET (Level 3 Award in Education and Training)
- Experience teaching Business Studies in either further education or secondary education
