Maths Teacher Full-Time Temporary (FE College, Northampton)

Role: Maths Teacher GCSE Resits

Location: Ofsted-rated Good college, Northamptonshire

Start Date: Beginning of September 2025

Duration: Ongoing, approximately 13 months (until a permanent candidate is appointed)

Hours: Full-time

Pay Rate: per hour + holiday pay

Think FE is working with a well-regarded further education college in Northamptonshire, recently graded Good by Ofsted, to recruit a passionate and capable Maths Teacher. This full-time temporary position involves teaching GCSE maths resit students in a supportive, student-focused environment.

What You\’ll Do

  1. Deliver engaging and structured GCSE maths resit lessons to 16-19-year-olds
  2. Support learners in achieving key qualifications vital for further study or employment
  3. Monitor and report on learner progress and provide timely feedback
  4. Work collaboratively with a dedicated teaching team to uphold the college\’s high standards

Who are we looking for?

  1. Qualified Maths teacher with experience delivering GCSE Maths syllabus
  2. Previous experience of teaching resit students is highly desirable
  3. Applicants with a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will be prioritised for this role
