Think FE are proud to be working with a highly regarded, specialist training provider who are looking for a Fire & Security Engineering Tutor to deliver their Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship programme. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional ready to take their next step into education or an established tutor looking for a new challenge.
What will you do?
- Deliver structured teaching and assessment across Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician standards.
- Supervise and support apprentice engineers in both technical and personal development.
- Plan and deliver engaging, technically accurate lessons with hands-on learning opportunities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and progress planning.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality standards.
Who are we looking for?
- Strong practical experience in Fire & Security installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Deep technical knowledge in one or more of: SIA, FireQual, Milestone Advanced, or equivalent.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- You don’t need to be an experienced teacher; training can be provided.
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience is essential.
- Willing to travel occasionally to support delivery needs.
