We are working with a forward-thinking and well-equipped college in Berkshire to recruit a skilled Electrical Apprenticeship Assessor/Trainer. In this role, you will support and coach a caseload of apprentices, helping them progress towards Gateway and their End Point Assessment. You’ll liaise with employers, ensure progress is tracked accurately, and uphold compliance all while playing a key part in shaping the future workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from either an educational or industry background. Assessor or teaching qualifications are welcome but not essential if you’re willing to train; the college will support your development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a caseload of Electrical apprentices with coaching, assessment and progression planning
  • Carry out progress reviews and liaise with employers to track and support learner development
  • Ensure all off-the-job training is fully compliant and documented
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date learner records to meet funding and quality requirements
  • Prepare learners for successful End Point Assessment
What Do You Need?
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • Either:
  • Previous experience teaching or assessing in a training/college setting
  • Significant recent industry experience and a desire to move into training and assessing
  • Willingness to train as an assessor and/or teacher if not already qualified
